You are invited to join us for The Ball 2009 for ages 40+.  Over 500 people attend The Ball 2008 for Ages 40+ last year and we are again, to our knowledge, the only exclusively 40+ Jewish Christmas Eve event in the city this year!

It may look like we are holding this event at a bowling alley.  But, fear not, because Lucky Strike is one of the coolest, most upscale, and most unique venues we've ever found!  As seen on 90210 and American's Top Model, Lucky Strike is not just a bowling alley, but also a very plush lounge and very luxurious dance club and has "lured the likes of Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johansson, Vince Vaughn and Barack Obama." (The New York Post).

And, "while the Main Lounge is plush . . .  the rez-only Luxe Lounge is ridiculous: a 4-lane private suite w/ surround sound, dedicated DJ booth, and a lane-spanning, 24ft-high projection screen distracting enough to be blamed for the most egregious string of gutterballs." (Thrillist).

This is the way we'll roll:

• We'll have drink specials and complimentary light hors d'oeuvres 8 pm - 9 pm.

• We'll have exclusive use of the Luxe Lounge Premium Suite with 4 private lanes, a private bar, a private DJ and dance floor, and a private lounge.  This isn't just bowling - it's our own plush, private, luxurious, lounge and club.

• We'll have free bowling and free bowling shoe rental with as many lanes as we need, all night long.  Each bowling lane features plush banquette seating, neon lighting, automatic scoring and cool artwork.  To claim your lane, just show the wristband we'll give you when you enter, to the people at the front desk of Lucky Strike and they'll set you up.

• We'll have free use of billiard tables, too.

• Of course, we'll also have a full bar, great music and dancing (from the same DJ you may have enjoyed at Duvet in 2007 and 2008)
